Anywhere from 2-3 weeks is usual once you begin to see kitten movement.

This was the state of affairs on Tuesday :)
I seen them moving for the first time today!!! Can we work out from that how long is left?
Beautiful mama! She appears to be a Bengal cat. Absolutely stunning. I'd say about 3 more weeks! My rescue mama cats have about 2 weeks left each also :)

She is stunning! My boss has had Bengal cats for years and thinks she could be pure bread or atleast a good percentage.
At 2-3 years old it amazes me that she wasn't chipped!
Let me know how things go with your babies! I would love to follow their progress!!

Another 3 weeks seems a long time! We estimated 10th March! [emoji]128584[/emoji]

Reading your posts is cracking me up, bc I am in the same boat! When I first read about the delivery process I was like "NOPE!!" Hahaha

This is going to be interesting, to say the least!

Anyway, she's absolutely gorgeous. :) I'm curious to see how people are dating her, bc it looks like she's at about the same stage my little girl is (stray that I took in who I then learned was pregnant, so I have no idea when she was bred). I had been thinking it could be any day now for her, but from this thread I'm thinking it may be more like a few weeks?

Anyway, good luck to you! Keep updating, it's super helpful to see how things are progressing and also I can't wait to see photos of the adorable kittens!

Have you felt and seen lots of movement?! She's probably due a lot sooner, your due date estimation is probably accurate. She could just be carrying 3-4. My girls are due March 16th! The one mama cat is HUGE already, I'm going to be shocked to see her size in 2 more weeks! I've been feeling and seeing tons of movement, I think there is 6+ kittens in there. We'll see! According to the lady I rehomed her from, she had a colourful litter of 7 in the past...I'm really in for it, LOL!
I can't wait to see your kitties.

She was with us when she came into season although it took us a while to realise! So we just counted 64 days from the middle of her season. If we say the season was 10 days that estimated date could go 5 days either way! - I think!

We've felt and seen a lot more movement in recent days. It's very strange! I have no idea how to go about counting them but I'd guess 3/4. When she went to the vet she said that she has never had kittens before (that's why she thought the cat was spayed) adding the fact that she is no older than 3 years old I'm praying for a smal litter lol
I could never cope with 6 like you have coming!!! [emoji]128584[/emoji]

Any advice on flea treatments for pregnant cats? Just found a flea on the poor girl!
UK brands would be most helpful if anyone is familiar?

I spoke to the vet and they gave me frontline, the type that doesn't go into the blood stream.
All good now :)

This is going to sound ridiculous (because it is!!) do any of your cats wee in the bathtub?
I don't know where this behaviour has come from! She is using new her litter box more and more along with still going out occasionally for a toilet breaks.
She mostly does it first thing in the morning, she'll follow you into the bathroom but today she did it like mid-day! It could be worse- it could be on the carpet! But still, it's not the nose desirable thing!

We think that when she was a stray she was going into an empty house a few doors down through an open window. We assumed that it was the previous owner's cat and that they had left it behind but we have since discovered that they had a black cat.
It's a behaviour she may have started there?

Does anyone have any idea?

It's not uncommon, actually. How often do you clean her litter box? And how many litter boxes do you have? It's probably a reaction to not thinking it's clean enough.

Also, I would really advise that she not go outside until after she has delivered, the kittens are weaned, and she is spayed. There is a risk of her running off and delivering the kittens outside. She could also get an illness or a parasite and pass it on to the kittens. And, of course, she can get pregnant again within a week of delivery.

I'm glad she isn't completely insane! The litter box is emptied after every time she uses it. I just don't think she likes the concept very much :( as you have probably read, we had to basically teach her how to use it. She's probably never had one before and has spent the last 3 years going to the toilet wherever she likes!
She won't be going out much longer and definitely not when the kittens are born. But she sits there screaming and clawing at the door! She also runs at the door whenever it's opened- even if she just wants to sit outside on the step! She is never gone long, 10/20 mins and we have provided her somewhere to give birth outside in an emergency.

The stray I adopted used to go in the tub when I first brought her in. It didn't bother me. I was glad she was smart enough to use the tub as it was easy to clean up. But she did learn the litter box quickly. Now she never uses the tub. It's probably part of the transition for your cat. She'll likely stop using the tub in time.

I agree that she needs to stay in full-time when she nears her due date, even if she screams to go out.
