HiccupKitty
Hi all! This is my first post on this site, and I'm really hoping for some peace of mind!
On Friday (5 days ago), I brought my 5 year old recently adopted rescue Hiccup, in for her dental. Her liver profile was just a tiny bit high, but the vet and I decided it was safe to go ahead with the dental anyway.
Fortunately no extractions were necessary, but I'm concerned that my cat isn't quite herself yet. She's eating okay but not drinking as much water, though that might be due to the fact that I've been softening her food with water. I'm noticing lethargy, very large pupils, exaggerated jumpiness sometimes at things I can't see, more attention meowing than usual, more rubbing of the cheeks than usual, and rolling back and forth on her back. Her stools are a little loose but I assume that's from her antibiotics (clinisol clindamycin).
Any thoughts or suggestions before I make an appointment to bring her back to the vet? It's so difficult because there's nothing overtly wrong- she just isn't back to normal and I'm not sure why.
