You were all so amazingly helpful before that I am coming back for more advice. My husband is about to lose it.
We got Poof (Mama cat) in June last year. She was an indoor cat that was kicked out and I couldn't handle that. We picked her up and brought her home. Come to find out she was pregnant. She had the kittens in July. The first month she was here she never peed anywhere but the litter box. Some time after the kittens were born she started peeing on towels if they were left on the floor. Never clothes left on the floor, only the towels. It has now gotten to the point where she pees on the towels, couches, and my bed. I take apart the couch, wash it, and she pees. I strip the bed, wash it, and she pees. We have her 2 kittens here with us along with another female. Poof is 1, Mooshie (other female) is 9 months, and Kittens are 7 months. We have 2 litter boxes that I clean constantly. She was spayed 3 weeks ago and I thought maybe that would change things, but it hasn't. I had her at the vet yesterday because she has eosinophilic granulomatous complex. I don't think that that would have anything to do with it. I don't know what to do. If I can't get her to stop she is going to have to go. I can't have every piece of furniture smelling like pee. My husband is ready to kick her out. Please help!!
