The house looks so blah this time of year, once the Christmas decorations come down. I have to put something up on the doors to help counteract it.

Right now I've got snowmen on the side and the front door -

That's very cute!

We have a big fat nothing.  In fact, my front door is in dire need of replacement.  We have a vintage home but one of the prior owners pulled whatever the original door is out and put in a terrible looking wood solid core door - no window.  No amount of decorating will help it, my "screen door" is equally as awful (I have no screens for it, and it has tacky fake colored glass on the sides) and hides anything we put on the door as decoration.

I'm hoping this is the year to replace it.  I want a window in it for sure. It's going to cost a bundle because the entire framing has to be ripped out and redone.  I'm looking forward to being able to get a wreath up!

I have a heart on a ribbon for Valentine's Day; but I have no idea where it got put last year.  It's probably with my wood shamrock wreath for St Patricks Day.

Still have a small winter wreath with a small burgundy bow.

Will be changing it soon...tired of it, but I have to get something else for it...either something I have or a small thing a buy.

My front door is empty since I took down the Christmas wreath. My door at the garage has a grapevine wreath sprayed with white like snow and some red berries on it. I put it there for Christmas but decided it just looks good for winter. I have a friend who is crafty and she is working on a "surprise" for my front door. I bought a new wreat at TJ MAXX for the garage entry door, but am waiting a bit to put it up as I am enjoying the winter one there now. I need something for my door that goes out of the kitchen to the porch. I had a harvest one there, but had to take it down when I put a Christmas one there. I need to go shopping and buy a new one for that door.

When I went out the other day I realized I am one of the few houses on my street with something on the door. :lol3:

I have a Christmas themed bell hanging over the door that was a Christmas gift. It makes very pleasant jingly sounds when the door is opened, so I never bothered to take it down.

Light blue paint. I need to redo it

I don't put up decorations. What doesn't go up doesn't have to come down and get put away.

It also gets very windy by me so if I put something up it would be gone rather quickly. I'd see it on a neighbor's door within a day or 2.

I had to take all of my decorative flags down yesterday. The wind was crazy!
