Greetings from NC

I joined a few days ago and just not stopped to introduce myself yet. My name is Amanda, we have 5 cats. Jinks is black with white panties, Meera is kinda hard to describe, she is sorta like a pale grey w/some darker stripes and peachy color mixed in, she also is a "rump" no tail at all. Jerry is a black & white male that we took in for a friend and kept. Ghost, you guessed it, is solid white & FLUFFY! She is either a ragdoll or ragamuffin, not sure cause she just showed up here at midnight in Oct 2014 and decided she likes it here. Last but not least is little Daisy, she is a calico. She was kept by my oldest son when his girlfriend moved out, she took the brother with her. Daisy is close to having her kittens, she got out one day when she was on heat & I couldn't catch her All of the other cats are fixed, but Daisy didn't get fixed in time, but she will be as soon as possible.
I also have 5 dogs, 4 are small dogs & one medium sized. I've been married for 22 yrs & have a son 21 & a son 19 yrs old.
So that's me & mine.

Welcome Amanda, Junks, Meera, Jerry, Ghost and Daisy!     This is a great site - very friendly members and a wonderful source of information on everything to do with cats.   We love pictures, so would love to see pictures of everyone, dogs included.  Your Jinks sounds a bit like my Paul - he is all black with an adorable white patch on his tummy.  When Daisy's time come's close, you might want to post about it on the Pregnant Cats and Kittens site.  You'll get lots of expert advice and lots of views from people (like me) who love to see pictures of mamas and babies.  I hope you enjoy your time here!

I Will have to find pictures of Meera & Ghost. They don't ever stay in one place long enough to get a pic unless they are asleep.

This is my little old Annie. She is about 4 lbs now & 16 1/2 yrs old.

What a beautiful fur family you have!  I love the one of Daisy.  She has such interesting coloration.  And there is nothing like a good tummy photo to make me smile.  They are all lovely, though and look very healthy and content.  Jinks is a doll, btw (I love black cats!)  

Thanks y'all! I can't work anymore and I am a nurture by nature & went from working in the medical field to having all my fur babies that I can take care of. Some of the critters I have were basically given to me because their owner could not take care of them, I wasn't meant to be a permanent owner but after it worked out that way with the first 2, I refused to give the third one back because she mentioned rehoming him, I think it was just her way of trying to hurt me because I stopped letting her take advantage of me. I got the best part of the deal LOL. I love them all.

Welcome, What a full house you have!!  You have your hands full to say the least!     Meera sound like she may be a pastel calico?? They are so pretty!    

Oh, I am in NC too! Never heard of Harmony NC. though. Do you know how far it is from Wilmington?

I've said before she was like a pastel calico but didn't know that was a real thing lol. She's my baby. She prefers to stay outside but when it's child weather she comes in at night and either sleeps on my chest, stomach or at my feet once she's gotten plenty of loving from me.
Harmony is near where I77 & I40 cross, several hours between us.

OK, Good to know.  Yes, I've always thought pastel calico's were pretty.

I stay so busy with the daily lovings i give to each critter that its sometimes hard to find the time to be online. But i sure made the time to make sure that i was prepared for Daisy giving birth.

This is my sweetheart Meera, she finally decided to come in while it was still daylight so I could get a good picture to share with you.
Now I just have to catch the other 2 in good light.

Ooh, pretty girl!

Thanks margd she is a "rump" NO tail at all. I can remember the first vet visit with her, my vet was thrilled because he thought she was a bobtail til he ran his hand down her back...it was sooo funny, the look on his face was great. He was like "well by gosh she has not tail at all!" He had be we seen one in his office before.
