Uri with cats

Recently I took my older cat to the vet and he was diagnosed with a URI , well now my younger cat got it from him. Is there anything I can do to help him. We just can afford another vet bill right now

Perhaps your vet would be willing to give you a second cat's dose of the antibiotic they used on the cat you took in (assuming they did use one).  I would definitely suggest calling your vet and telling him or her just what you told us.  Some vets will work with you, others will not.  A lot depends on how much of a relationship and history you have with that vet, and the rest depends on how sick your second cat is, and if the first one recovered well.
