Happy Monday to you all.  It's over or half over for a good portion of us.  Plus we are online so no one can chuck a shoe at me for saying "happy Monday".

Let's talk Food Court Food.  Imagine you are in the mall and going to treat yourself to something to eat.  (This question is for fun!
)  What do you get?

We don't go to the mall too often because it's 45 minutes away; but if we do it's usually to get my kids pictures taken and they know I will get them some pretzel nuggets from Auntie Annes if they listen to the photographer and behave well.  Sometimes I get some too (especially the cinnamon sugar covered nuggets).

If we are having lunch I usually get the kids pizza at Grottos.  Sometimes I'll get a slice of something there; like the stuffed pizza with broccoli and cheese!  I don't know if they always have that out now though.  I love it covered in sauce!  So yummy!!  We had a Salad Works in the mall and I loved that place too.  I either got their Buffalo Chicken Salad with blue cheese dressing or their Tivoli salad with balsamic vinegar dressing!  At home we eat a lot of salads; but we get romaine lettuce, no iceberg and we control what we put in it.  Their salads have so much extra added to them, between meats, cheeses, pasta, etc it really feels like a treat meal rather than a super healthy option.  Plus I always let them mix in the dressing for me so I know I ate more than if I put it on myself.
Their rolls (white and multi-gran) are so good too!

I'd probably go to Nature's Table and get a smoothie. I don't go to the mall often and it's been years since I ate at the food court. I had to look to see what places they even have there. Most food courts aren't very vegan friendly.

The mall we frequent most often doesn't have a food court. They do have a pizza place, so we usually stop and each has a slice of hoagie pizza. Chopped lettuce, chopped tomatoes, some onion, and a little bit of chopped ham. Some pizza herbs. So sauce and very little cheese. It's a way to have pizza and still eat fairly well anyway.

There isn't a food court in the one closest to my home. Years ago, there was but it was removed a long time ago.

There are some restaurants but none which I gravitate to.  Probably Starbucks would be the go-to. I am always ready for more coffee!

There's another one just a bit further, not even a mile.  I do like the Cheesecake Factory there, but it's been years since I shopped in that one.

Our mall has a Five Guys and a Chic-fil-a so I would probably eat at one of those, even though they aren't healthy options! I almost never go to the mall anymore though.

Soft, warm pretzles are just the best when window shopping! [emoji]128525[/emoji][emoji]128536[/emoji][emoji]128159[/emoji][emoji]128158[/emoji][emoji]128149[/emoji]

Alas, I'm never alone when I go the mall anymore, so I have to opt for the most food for the least amount. Pizza, chicken nuggets bowls, stuff like that. It's still good, but soft pretzels, still warm and with a little garlic butter to dip in, aaaahhh, such the bestest! [emoji]128525[/emoji]

I don't typically go to the mall these days either. Thankfully, there's the highway oasis - it's just like a food court at the mall!

I actually haven't been to any malls out here yet, but when I'd go to the mall in Vegas I'd usually either get Auntie Anne's or a teriyaki chicken plate from Hibachi-san. I'm pretty sad there's no Hibachi-san in Ohio. ;__;

Our Mall is so small it only has a popcorn shop and a frozen yogurt store. When I go out of town I like to eat Chinese food at the food court it's my favorite exotic food! I should of been born Chinese I can eat it everyday!

We don't go get food court food berry often anymore, but when we do it's almost always Panda Express. Gotta love it.
I usually get sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, and Nick gets orange chicken with chow mein. :)

I hardly ever go shopping. When I do go to a mall, several within driving distance, I rarely eat at the Food Court.

Only if I have a delay in an appointment or are waiting for something.

My automatic 'go-to' is a slice of pizza at Sbarro..   or I have a cup of coffee at Starbucks, or a Tea at Teavana....

If a pizza, I will sit in the food court. If a tea or coffee, I will grab a nice comfy chair, somewhere a bit private and just hang out....

In the old days, when I did marathon shopping, especially at Christmas, my automatic go-to was a huge soft pretzel with mustard!!  or the little niblet bites.. I would grab that on the way out and eat it as I was driving home....

not a good idea, but I was a lot younger........

I forget the name of the japanese/chinese place.. I usually get Chicken Teryaki!

or if I want a quick grab and go, it'll be Auntie Anne's. I always have trouble deciding between the regular, or the sugar/cinnamon.

oh, i'd definitely be going to get a fresh hot soft pretzel!
i really like the bits of pretzel salt on them; and i'd squirt some yellow mustard on mine. and a slice of pizza too!

there are actually no malls within a good 45 minute drive in any direction from me.

I live a long, long way from the nearest mall so I'm not really sure what they have in the food court. Last time I went there I had a lovely kiwi, grapefruit and pineapple drink from the fresh squeezed juice bar. I'd go for one of those again.

Don't know much about local malls, but I used to love Sbarros. Stuffed pizza and baked ziti is nom!

Whenever we go to the Hilltop Mall 100 miles away, we always have to have one of their home baked pretzels, dipped in butter and garlic of course, they taste like homemade bread hot from the oven. At our mall that is closer, 70 miles, we get a slice of pizza. Usually though we eat at restaurants instead, that is a treat for someone who is from such a restaurant challenged city such as ours!
