So our youngest has been throwing up about once a week for the last month or so shortly after eating, which was leading me to think she was eating too fast or too much, which she has had problems with in the past. She is always hungry. But it the last 2 times have been projectile...but still a week apart. I was starting to get worried and was almost about to take her to the vet and finally saw a good size hairball today that was thrown up. So it looks like she had a hairball stuck in her. Is there any food I can give her to help with digesting hairballs or any thing else she may have trouble with? It would have to be a wet food because she does not eat dry food or treats, never has and never even attempted too.

Also, what can I do to get her to stop chewing on stuff? Luckily I havent seen her eat anything big or harmful...but she loves to chew on everything. Paper, clothes, strings, toys, phone cords, boxes. I mean literally, anything that looks interesting she will chew on it lol. I don't know how to get her to stop

My cat likes that cat grass. That might be worth a try.  I think it's oat grass. I'm not sure what it does. I think the fiber  might help the hair pass through easier. I notice him get finicky with his food and eat more of the grass for a few days then he usually coughs up a hairball or I'll see evidence of hair when I scoop the litter box. I try and increase his water intake too if I notice that. I'll mix a bit of water in his wet food to help pass things through.

Here is the epic thread on hairballs.  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/250653/egg-lecithin-for-hairballs

It could be food intolerance and she's just throwing up.  If you're feeding an exclusively dry food diet, I would highly recommend transitioning to a mostly wet food diet.  You can mix in a little bit of plain canned pumpkin to help keep her digestive system moving.

As for the chewing, how old is she?

She only eats wet. I dont think I've ever seen her eat dry food or anything crunchy, not even a treat
