Is he a kitten or an adult and is he indoor only?   If he is an indoor only adult it probably isn't a parasite.  There is a comprehensive PCR test that is sent out which tests for all possible parasites as well as bacterial overgrowths.

Have you tried switching to a protein that he hasn't eaten before?  He may have developed a sensitivity to a protein that he is now eating.

Have you tried adding probiotics in to his food?  That would help to balance the good and bad bacteria.

It would help to know the questions above, too.

I would definitely seek a second opinion and ask the vet to do the PCR diarrhea panel.  Adding probiotics is also a great idea.

Yeah, ask the vet to make sure. The standard stool sample test often doesn't catch parasites. It's just involves looking at the sample under a microscope, so it's easy to miss the parasites if they're there but not super prolific.

I love the name Marty by the way! I hope he feels better soon.

The PCR test that is being referenced here tests for parasites aside from your standard tapeworm, roundworm, etc...
It tests for Giardia (which is often missed or not seen in in-house testing), Tritrichomonas, Cryptosporidium, Clostridium, Campylobacter, and a few others.

Definitely worth running this test if it hasn't already been done.

Has Marty been dewormed at all? If so, what dewormed has been used?

When they tested him for parasites in nov 2015 Giardia was included in that I think coccidia also the test said neg on all parasites he tested for I don't know all the vet tested for

and the vet dewormed him in jun 2015 because he tested positive for roundworms he only gave me roundworm meds for Marty and the rest of the cats I asked for a dewormer that gets ride of tape round etc but the vet only wanted to do roundworm deworming :/ when i take him back to the vet i'm gonna ask for another parasite test to be done and ask the vet if he thinks its ibs-d which is irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea

IBD has other symptoms too though, you haven't told his age?

Standard poop testing is a fecal float, which is not sensitive and does miss parasites.

He needs an all around deworming too like Drontal.

A PCR test is excellent, not cheap though, but at this point you will be taking him in over and over and trying different things, why not just go for it and PCR it, to get an accurate diagnosis once and for all.

What a headache I know.

Wow. I haven't heard this excuse before from a vet in regards to parasites and administering medication. All my vets will tell you that it's easy to miss a parasite due to the shedding cycles.

I think it might be time to consider seeing a different vet.

Drontal certainly won't hurt anything and could potentially be the cure.

I went to all the vets in my area they suck this one is an iffy in my book but my other cat is going to another vet in march if they seem good which we used to go wen i was a kid but they are pricey anyway if that vet seems like they know what they are doing im taking Marty there instead :/

Maybe I can ask the one vet that i'm taking Blanket to if i can get some drontal for all the cats I don't see why they wont as long as i pay for it right?

If the vet has not seen the other cats within the last year, they likely will not prescribe anything for them. The vet will want accurate weights and to at least do a physical on them. This is common practice at any vet.
