Hello fellow ailuraphiles! Introducing Aurelia (5yr f) and Benjamin (4yr m). They are best buds and have converted my husband into a cat lover in less than a year! They were a bit scared when we first brought them home, but I think they are starting to get the idea that this is their new home:)

Welcome to TCS!
And welcome to beautiful Aurelia and handsome Benjamin!

Good for them bringing another cat-lover into the fold.  I hope to see many more pictures and hear more about them in the future.

Brilliant cats. Excellent representatives of the underground Everyone Needs Cats movement.

They are masters a winning people over. I really thought I was a dog person until Midi came into my life. I love all animals but can proudly say that I am a cat person. Your husband didn't stand a chance lol. Welcome to the site

So was my husband Zed, he hadn't had anything to do with cats and only knew the 'cold and distant' cliche. He was so surprised at the huge personalities cats have and how hilarious they are. [emoji]128571[/emoji]

Welcome to TCS, you fur babies are beautiful. You know, I think that old cliché that cats are "Distant and cold" just goes to show that cats are so miss understood. Dogs are so transparent, and their expressions and mannerisms are so telling, but a cat has stealth, sophistication and has an "air" about them that is perceived has cold, sneaky, distant, etc., where as the reality is that they are intelligent, don't neccessarily wear their "intelligence on their "sleeve" like a dog does with their "tricks" and such. A cat's "poised" demeanor can be off putting for people who are looking for simplicity in a pet. Just my personal observation. Don't misunderstand me though, I love dogs as well, I will always miss my MIssy who passed 2 years ago, this is just an observation is all.
