Still no kittens but she is still contracting nicely and she's very calm and resting and purring away

She's still eating and drinking in between her contractions aswell think it's gona be a looonng night lol

One way to know when she is actually pushing, you will see her whiskers push out/forward.

She may choose to deliver on the couch or your bed, I'd suggest if she seems to favor one spot to lay and spend time at, maybe cover it with a few layers of towels, if she moves and goes to another spot you can put them there under her too.

Otherwise it will be very wet during delivery and you don't want to move her while actively delivering.

Afterwards babies and her can be placed in her box.

Thanks for the tip she been amazing and stayed her her box all day she's sleeping now I haven't been in there much as my son ain't very well but I'm in and out checking on her and she will meow at me everytime I walk in as she wants me to stay with her but I will stay with her soons my son goes to bed, can contractions stop? Just wondering as I haven't seen her contracting much but then again I ain't in the room long enough as my son needs me

She may be waiting for you.  Cats can delay labor.

Been with her now for half hour and yep the contractions have stopped :/ she's still all relaxed and purring away

Update... she's been on and of sleeping most of today contractions have stopped and she snuggled up with me on the sofa is this normal for a cat to stop her contractions? Will she pick it back up soon? Kittens are active and kicking away in there.

It can happen.  If she isn't in distress I wouldn't worry. 

Aww, is sounds like she delayed the labour to wait for you. That's so sweet. It's hard to choose between flesh babies and fur babies, trust me, I know. As long as she's not in any pain or duress, she'll be fine. I'm mad though. I got excited for kittens when I was reading the thread. Poo. [emoji]128569[/emoji]

Finally! She did good at holding out and making you wait. 

Towels, hand towels, scissors, string (I prefer dental floss) in case you need to assist with cords.

When baby comes out, let her do it, never pull. What you want to see is her cleaning and chewing the sac, cleaning face to get the breathing going and chewing the cord.

Baby is ready to snuggle up to her and possibly nurse unless she is too preoccupied at that moment.

I'm online in case anything happens that you need to know how to handle, so no worries.

1 kitten has been born just over an hour ago it got stuck and had to help her pull it out but it didn't survive she now resting and no more contracting not sure if there's anymore in there as I don't won't to start poking her as she had a bad labour she has liked herself off etc.. If there more how long can she hold it off til the next kitten to come?

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that. Was it in the birth canal for too long? The next baby can come in an hour or even a day or two later.
