Hi I'm new here.. I have a heavily pregnant cat she was a stray been dumped on my uncle horse field heavily pregnant so I taken her in, yesterday day she was looking spots of blood so I rung the vet and they said it was normal and she's just going into labour so I got all excited at half 9 last night I went to check on her and she's scratched her box like mad and her behind was very wet she kept Licking herself to... still no kittens but today she's been sleeping on me all day but haven't had any contractions yet should I be worried or is this perfectly normal?

Perfectly normal and would say she will be going in to active labor very soon, she is resting up now for the big event :)

Bet within 24 hours you have some new kits!

Just a update on my pregnant cat... she's still nice and relaxed and now there's clear jelly stuff coming out is that a good sign that kitties are on there way?

Temperature is not always the best predictor of labor. As Catwoman said, the mucus is a sign that she's getting very close. Be patient! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Great!  If you see her pushing ineffectively or struggling to get a baby out you may need to help.  Glad you will be there!

Let us know how it goes and if you have any questions.

How long what it be for a kitten to arrive of she's contracting and already lost her mucus plug last night?

She's in Stage One labor. It can last up to 24 hours, but she's probably been in it for awhile already.
