TCS runs on a custom-made platform that's constantly updated. It's not even listed there as far as I can see, so I'm not sure why you think it's quite antiquated?

Thank you for your timely response. Please do not mistake my suggestion for being anything other than constructive criticism. This is a cat forum and we should all try to be friends here and work together.
With regard to the advertising, would you please not put it at the side of the forum as it makes the posts cramped, just at the top of the forum...thank you.

As for the ads, here's a little tip. You can pay as little as $5 a month and become a premium member. Premium members support the site with their subscriptions and can switch off ads completely.

Hi, I do not use the forum enough to justify a paid subscription.
If you don't use the forum enough to warrant paying then you're not using it much at all I suspect so what's your actual problem?
This is one of the most efficient message boards I have every used. And I had no idea there was a membership.
Thanks for the reminder!! I had a paid membership before and just renewed it for a year. I'm not bothered by the ads though. $5 a month to help out the best forum on the web is a bargain IMO. A lot of people spend more on that on a cup of coffee at Starbucks. I agree with everyone else. This site is perfect the way it is.
That was my thinking. We get so used to free. And at least here you aren't besieged by pleas for money. I joined today. This site has become my second home through all of our cat issues and the best source of reliable cat information I've found. Plus I can post my cat pictures.
