Calling All Laundry Basket Loving Kitties

FUnny. Sinbad and Tempest prefer dirty laundry. Sinbad will even steal laundry out of the hamper and drag it around the house to nest in if we leave it uncovered.
I have one of those IKEA wardrobes with the basket drawer that I keep my socks in. Whenever I would keep the door to the wardrobe open, Shelby would start taking my socks out one by one. He was also great at rearranging the clothes in the laundry basket until it was more comfortable for him! He was quite the character!
Shelby is such a handsome boy. I have a real soft spot for tabbies.
Thank you! He also knew that he was handsome. He had a way of walking like he knew he was something special
I miss him so very much.
I don't have a photo unfortunately, just a memory of my first cat 'Tippytoes' happily nesting in my dad's disgusting sweaty work shirt before it was washed...and he loved it!! (...Tippy loved it...not my dad).
A sign of affection fur sure!!!!

Oh goodness, all 3 of my cats are obsessed with the laundry haha.
I have cought Zazzie inside the dryer multiple times (don't worry it was never turned on or anything. My mom just forgot to close the dryer door and she climbed in there!)
And kiwi is most obsessed with laying on fresh laundry. I even caught her laying on clothes that were on the dining room table (which she knows she is not allowed on) and she gave me this look like "what? I'm not actuallly on the table!"
She LOVES freshly washed towels
And my baby boy Tesla has recently become fascinated with dropping his toys into the laundry basket, jumping in it, and chasing his toy around in circles for hours.
And then of course he loves laying on the laundry too

I'm sure your mom does this but make sure your she checks to see if any cats are hiding in the dryer before she turns in on.
They can't get into my laundry basket. It's tall with a lid, however if I leave it on my bed, too lazy to put it away, it becomes a new bed. I may have an empty bed and one little something to be put away ie a pair of knickers, somebody will be sitting on them. Lazy me.
