took him to vet when I .noticed a wound on his kneck today. vet said he was bitten /attacked five days ago.It was not obvious to me or     I . would have taken him to vet sooner.  he needs to be confined for three days give the wound time to heal.he is closed up at night in the garage with his brother and let out in the morning. how and where  is the best way to confine him?

A bathroom or spare bedroom would work just fine to confine him. You could also just keep him in the garage. Another option would be to crate him in an XL wire dog crate.

th  anks for your suggestion.have  put   him in one of my bedrooms my daughter sleeps in.plan to put him back out on Monday{after three days of meds the Vet perscriped for him. .his brother prefers to stay in the garage at night and roam outside during the day. the female cat that has  grown up with blacky prefers to sleep in the same bedroom.she is afraid of a stray cat that hangs around outside because has attacked her a few times.

Are your cats spayed and neutered? I ask because male cats are a lot more likely to get into fights when outdoors and unfixed.
