Blame that "cat's first pic" thread for this. I was looking for the first pic I have of Lucky - he was a kitten and on the bed with my other kitty, Tiger - and was looking through all of these. In chronological order to the best of my ability. I really wish I'd labeled the dates on things better before.
This is Diablo, from the mid-80s perhaps. He was the first "house cat" in my life (as opposed to the basement cats). We have others that followed shortly after, but he was the first and only at the beginning. He was on his favorite spot here - the kitchen sink. No idea why he liked it so much, but he did.
This was a dog of ours named Trooper, and Tenny the kitten (my sister spelled Tenni wrong). She was so named because she was our tenth cat at the time. I used to think that was a lot :lol3: She was just a tiny wee one at the time, so this is from sometime in 1991. I always forget how tiny they were.
This is Lucky (in the tent) and Ali Cat. My best guess is October of 2004. We were still at the old house here, and it was after my breakup from my last boyfriend (yep, been single for THAT long!). I still remember that tent so well, was a really big hit with the critters!
This is from around the same timeframe as the last one. Clockwise from left: Lucky, Ali Cat and Maple. Also guessing October 2004. Lucky and Maple were so young! Lucky was 5-1/2 and Maple was just 2-1/2. Ali was the old man of the group here at 14 years old. About the same age as Maple now. They were the last three cats we had in the old house.
And here's one of the regal Miss Maple, also from 2004.
This is Sammy and Roberta. They were two cats my sister took with her when she moved, and the day we moved into our house we ended up taking them in. Sammy was a pretty old man here, not sure exactly how old, but at least 15. Roberta was about the same age as Ali Cat. So thinking this was about 2005, which would have made her 15 also.
This is Lucky, the day my bedroom flooded. A pipe had burst and water was slowly collecting in my ceiling, and it just ended up collapsing on my bed, dumping a ton of water in my room and streaming a waterfall. Anyway, this was all the crap we could salvage from my room. Lucky looked as confused as I was that day. February 12, 2006. Hard to forget the date.
Maple again. March of 2006. Her 4th birthday, and my 29th. Looking quite regal again. I think it was this picture that had me dub her "The Decadent One".
Same day as the Maple pic above. My friend from Washington state sent me some flowers that day. She made sure not to send lilies! Lucky was playing hide and seek with me that day. So cute.
From around the same time, probably after my birthday (not 100% sure). Definitely 2006 though. I was still sleeping on the couch. I love this pic of Ali Cat for some reason. Such a cutie.

Ali Cat stretched across this couch that he loved so much. Sometime in 2008. Not long before he died. Old man lived to be 18! One of the few that we had that died peacefully at home.

And last but not least, another Lucky pic. September 19, 2013. It was pretty hot that day and you can tell in this pic! I love how you can see his pink tummy here :heart2:
