She doesn't want to leave her kittens.   You need to feed her in the room with them and also have water and a litter box nearby.  She will eat a lot.  Give her lots of kitten food so she has enough vitamins and stuff in her milk to pass on to the kittens.

ignore my last post about her not eating, I called Mylo in and as soon as he came in, he went to check on her and she ate her food, then she ate his food while he just sat and watched her eat, theres still Iams dry food left but Mylos gone without meat tonight so Shia could have double lol

thought I'd add some daily Shia bump pics to see how it changes shape, she doesn't really look very pregnant in the pics she has a very small neat bump

was pretty difficult to get them as well cos she refuses to move from her favourite scratching box (please excuse the mess my kids opened some kinder eggs)

Don't worry, she does look pregnant, she's just does not huge. Can't see her waist, so she looks pregnant. Is Mylo fixed yet?

Quick side note make sure u check if the flea treatment is suitable for pregnant or nursing cats. I know same might not be. Better safe than sorry.

Aaaaaah, babies!!!

I have to subscribe to this thread. I'm so happy you are posting progress pictures! I felt like Tybalt and his siblings all grew so fast they weren't kittens very long at all. I'm bonkers for baby animals, but because I opt for sterility asap, I don't get to satiate my baby quota. [emoji]128569[/emoji][emoji]128571[/emoji][emoji]128573[/emoji]

I usually use advantage flea treatment, I'll be buying from the vets as its the only place i know that sells it at a decent price apart from amazon, I'll ask them which will be best for a pregnant cat :)

bit of an early one today, only 12pm and already doing an update haha but going to be busy rest of the day a bit I think so thought I'd do it now.

Shia has spent the whole day so far resting, shes been in bed with me having a snuggle, the babies were all having some sort of rave in her belly and I didn't want to stop feeling it, she was enjoying the belly rubs and I was enjoying feeling kicks from all angles :)

I have updated belly pics its hard to tell size differences cos 1 second she'll be massive the next you can't see a thing because they are moving around so much!

lots of pics today cos shes just too cute.

in my bed after enjoying a good hour of belly rubs, not looking impressed because I decided it was finally time to stop and have a shower lol-

once I had a shower she moved to her usual spot on her cat scratcher at the end of my bed, this things seen better days it used to be a cute little cottage thing haha, I'm worried shes going to end up giving birth on it.

she looks absolutely massive here

may do an extra update later on if anything happens but I think today is just a day of rest for Shia :)

yeah its fur, she still hasn't sorted the fur around her nipples ready for her babies yet, I keep getting worried cos her nipples are all bent to the side, hoping they straighten up and everything ready to feed but my friend keeps telling me to get some kitten formula just in case

Dang! I got excited because I thought it was her nipples and hoped the babies were coming! Oh well! I'm on my phone enjoying the dim morning light, so I can't see too well.

Once the milk starts filling out her nipples they will straighten out. Though, your friend might be on to something. I'd at least look around for formula and bottles while you wait for the kittens so you know where to get it if you do need it. I actually just responded to a thread with my thoughts on formula. I use one part goat milk and one part formula, starting half and half and adjusting as needed for the weight and development of the kittens. Goatmilk is more fatty than formula so you have to monitor their weight and adjust. Some don't need muck goat milk at all, while other may need more. Formula can be found at all-supply stores like Walmart, but my best results have been ranch supply stores. I got a great set of bottles from an Atwood's farm supply that had three different nipple types, because I'm a wildlife rehabber (sadly I haven't had any babies brought to me in the past four years, but I guess I should be happy). The formula and goat milk mixture has always been my greatest achievement in rearing cats and squirrels, and KMR has always been my most successful formula. Like I said in the other thread, the only formula I ask anyone to stay away from is Petlac. I've lost one squirrel and one kitten with Petlac, and the second time, with the kitten has made me feel sick ever since. I wish I wouldn't have done that, but I thought since it's supposed formulated for kittens it would be safe. I'm not sure what it is about the formula, but it caused severe intestinal distress. In both cases.

To make the mood more light after that sad moment, I honestly think she'll be fine! Nipples are pretty resilient, especially in cats it seems! The only time I'd worry is after they start to fill out and they look inverted.

It's just a good idea. I'm sure KMR is sold in England, but I can root around online. Hopefully you live closed to the country so there are farm supply stores near you. I've been told by rehabbers in the UK that sheep's milk can be used too, but they might not like the silky texture (which is a surprise to me, because I've loved it!). I'm not educated on the agriculture in England so I can't be sure what's easier to come by! Either way, just remember that straight goat milk is not a suitable replacer for specially supplemented formula, but the addition is always helpful!

I really hope your momma will be fine. I think she will be. Those three hour feedings are a pain in the night time! [emoji]128569[/emoji]

KMR or full fat goat's milk are both perfectly suitable for supplemental feedings. In the U.S., I recommend PetAg, Royal Canin, and GNC. Always powdered, never pre-mixed. You may not need to feed supplementally, but you can give dishes of it to mom as the extra calcium and other nutrients are good for her, and the kittens will drink it when weaning.

Okay, so I found that KMR and Beaphar (never uses it bit has good reviews) are sold in England. The reason why I, personally don't give straight formula to kittens is because it can cause diarrhea, but some of the UK sites I've read seem to encourage straight formula. I also don't trust premixed formula, as sarthur2 reminded me to add. I have, however been told by rehabbers that it's safe in combination with goat milk, but I've never used it premixed. I have also been told by my vet that I've known for years that because goats are herbivores, their milk alone won't be enough for a carnivore such as a cat, and the extra fat could be too much. I trust his advice, and I've seen good results, but twice now I've read in this forum that goat milk alone is fine. Maybe you should call a local vet for more advice?
