I saw 3 too. My daughter's friends mom works at the vet I take Riley to. She said there was 4 in the image ( we texted her to double check lol) and the possible 5th the vet was talking about was towards the top but because she was full of crap it was hard to determine lol. But they say definitely 4. But like you I see 3 lol.

My scale still isn't here from Amazon! I want to weigh them so bad because one looks small.
Well just wait and see! Another one could surprise us all. But as long as she's sleeping, eating, using the litter box and acting fine overall, I'm sure that she is okay. Don't worry too much about the weights! As long as their bellies are getting round and they're keeping quiet, everything is A- okay!

The smaller one is a whiney one when not on mama. That's th first one she moved when I moved them I guess because he was so whiney lol

Sometimes it's just their character. I have a whiney one too! But if it's constantly squawking then that means hunger. You can try putting just that kitten on a teat when the rest are sleeping. That way he/she can get the full milk bar ;) have you had any luck determining the genders?

First and second appear to be female, last one is male! :)
It's hard to take a picture because she gets antsy when they cry I guess because she's a new mom. She's not mad but looks at me like "what the heck" lol

Thank you! Once she leaves to use the litter pan I will try and take better pics if you don't think it's 100%

I'm pretty certain that the first 2 are female and the other one is male. You can easily make out the "pinhole" I described earlier to be the vulva. Forward the pictures to the lady you know who works at the vet clinic and have her confirm :)

No worries! I'm here to help! I look forward to seeing all of our babies grow up. I think we'll be keeping one of our babies, and our two mamas. They've really stole each of our hearts. All of them will be fixed this summer! :)

That's amazing! Your kittens are so pretty! We are probably going to keep one baby and rehome the other two together. Riley will be fixed asap!

One of the babies opens its mouth like its panting and breathes fast then stops. It's done it a few times. Should I be worried??

There are several old threads on this site that describe the same thing. That the kitten was okay, and often it was the entire litter at times. Maybe even hissing because they don't know your scent? Not so sure about that, but it's funny to picture. I'd keep a close eye on it and if the kitten is not gaining weight or seems to be struggling, call the vet?

I have a scale but I don't understand it. There is a lbs mode and a fluid ounce mode. No grams. So not sure how to use it.

Does the lbs mode show ounces? you will need 1/10th of ounces.  Try weighing something and see what it does.

I've never used a kitchen scale before. I found where I can change it to grams. But something doesn't seem right I weighed one of them and it said 54 grams.

The scale may need to be reset or calibrated.  Is there a reset button?  Many times these scales can be reset to zero w/a bowl or dish on them so that you only weigh the contents and not the container.

Can you weigh something in you r cabinet that you know the weight of, like a can of soup or box of something that has the weight listed on the container.
