Hi all! I'm new to the forum and was wondering if I could get an evalution on the dry food I'm currently giving and some help choosing a new brand of dry food for my cat. Due to some price changes I might not be able to give him the usual brand :( The dry food he's currently on is grainfree and contains fresh salmon, fresh deboned chicken, chicken meal, potato starch, tapioca...(korean brand so hard to translate). They say it contains more than 33% raw protein and above 16% fat.
Some alternative choices are Purina cat chow complete or indoor and two other korean brands. The first brand (probest) says the ingredients are from china and contains above 30% protein and 12% fat. The site doesnt list the ingredients and they are not shown in the image...the second brand (cats eye) contains beef meal, chicken meal, fish meal, grains, rice, beat pulp...and has 31.5% protein and 12.5% fat. If I switch to any of these will food quality drop significantly or are they all about the same? What should I be looking for in cat food? I know the basics of low carbs and high protein but they all seem the same to me :( I'm not good at looking at foods and would appreciate any help!

Well without knowing exactly what's in them my suggestions would be to purchase whatever food has the most meat and the least amount of fillers. Ideally the first 4 ingredients (or more) should all be meat and not peas, corn, or some other fruit or veggie. If you can't find a good dry food could you switch to all wet food?

Thank you for your replies.
@missmimz: I've actually tried to change to wet food but everything here are snack cans that are not that nutritious. The closest thing are those fancy feast cans and I've heard those are not good either. I dont think I'll be able to make the food myself so as of now my best option is dry food supplemented with wet (fancy feast). So is the food that I am currently giving him okay as it is grainfree and the first four ingredients are all meat? If so, and there are no cheaper alternatives that can maintain his daily requirements, I'm prepared to tighten up to afford it.
@LTS3: Yes, I am currently residing in Korea. I visited the site you provided and the site lists the brands I asked about as well as other brands that are a bit out of my league. I would love to feed him Orijin one day but sadly that day seems quite far away at the moment...so as of now I'm limited to Iskhan (food he's currently on), Purina cat chow complete/indoor, Catsarang/Cats Eye, and Probest. If you also think that of those Iskhan provides the best, I try and stick to it.
