Honeybee on my lap, music playing in background

This is my Honeybee. She is around 4-6 years old. I had her shown in the Vermont CFA show in 2013. Someone said that she is  a "red hot tabby with white patches"

She has a black spot on the back of the left leg. Going to find a picture of it. In the summer we shave her short because this fur tangles easily. She is 9.5lbs to 10 lbs. She was as much as 11 lbs when I first took care of her-she came to me as 8.5lbs and you could feel her backbone. She was abandoned by her family to live outside. Shes feisty and friendly. I almost think she is part ragdoll because she is floppy when you hold her or when she is asleep-you can roll over and she rolls and doesn't wake up much.

Thank you for allowing me to post my beautiful Honeybee, who sleeps right on my chest every night.

As I understand it, she is a tortie, tortie with white.   The tabby we usually dont count on torties, if the stripes are only on the red parts.  All red cats are tabbies, so it wouldnt be no sport, eh?  So a tortie must have tabby markings on her dark parts, to count as tortie and tabby.

Her head is enough triangularish Im thinking on some Norwegian Forest Cat ancestry. Her natural weigh is too above average, and backs up such an idea.

Also, the Norwegians are usually well haired.

So I think this ancestry is near.

here is a better picture of her colors=she has no tabby on her back-its like someone took a brush and splotched it across. the tabby pattern is in the front paws and top of her head and back of her head then this weird pattern. someone said maine coon but her ears are too small and her face is not long enough I don't think.

Thank you for your words-either way she is beautiful!

What a beautiful girl! I think she may have a bit of Norwegian Forest Cat in her. Her head is certainly the right shape and she's got the nice long coat.
