Canine extraction: Can I get your thoughts on this photo?

My 4 year old tonkinese had her broken upper canine tooth extracted 3 days ago (gingival flap method, sutures to close it up etc...).  Today is Day 3, and I'm wondering if this looks infected to you guys?  I don't want to overreact, so I really appreciate your thoughts!  She's my first pet ever 

It does look suspicious. I think you should call your vet in the morning and ask them about this.

I would definitely call the vet asap!

I got back from the vet a couple hours ago.  My cat was given an antibiotic injection (Convenia) and subcutaneous fluids.  When we got home, she ate a nice portion of food, so that's good.  I will update again with photos in a few days!
