I read this again and thought how sad but at the same time how beautiful you had them together all those years giving you their love and them receiving your love. How blessed are we to have had and still have these beautiful creatures in our lives who give us such unconditional love. I find getting on here is such great therapy for me since losing our boy only on Wednesday. I feel pets know when it's their time. They know. You lost them to illness, it was their time. My hubby and I lost our boy because he ran under the wheel of our car. He was slow and getting old. He may have had dementia too. Not a day will go by when I won't be thinking about him and wondering what if we didn't pull up to driveway, what if we just parked in front of house. I guess can't keep thinking this way. I believe we give our fur babies the best kind of love and look after them better than some kids get looked after. I think our fur friends get a better deal than some elderly in nursing homes. Love and peace to you. Look after yourself. Your babies would want this. Also the greatest gift you can give them, when you're ready, is to rescue another kitty or two. Lots of hugs xxx

What beautiful cats. It's so sad that you lost them both. A few years ago I lost two of my cats within a few days of each other. They were best friends, it was like the couldn't bear to be apart.

Rest in Peace Fella and Little Girl, you're in a better place now.

Hi everyone, it's over month since I lost my 2 babies and I still feel like it's yesterday that they passed away. I still feel this pain in my heart. I miss them so much and I still cry every day. Have any of you feel the same ? What's helping you get over this pain and grief??

I am sorry you are suffering. For me, it was time, and a lot of it. I had a very special dog that passed away 15 years ago, it took so long to recover from her loss. There are times still when I shed a tear for her.  When Midi passes I will be a wreck, he is my best friend and has been there for me during some very difficult times. I don't think I could have made it without him.

Hi sweetie

This post is very timely for me as I was just thinking about our old boy we lost on 3/2/2016! Only 3 weeks ago :( I still get teary and well up inside when I think of him but I know we gave him a great life and he was very happy for 18 years :) just try to find comfort in knowing you gave your babies love and care for all that time and they would've loved you for it. I sometimes think, if it wasn't for all us fur baby parents, where would our babies have been? Couid they have survived on their own? Would anyone else have adopted them? I guess these sorts of things give me comfort. All the best to you hon and feel free to pm me if you like xxx

I am so sad my Fella I had to put down on Jan 2 and on Jan 4th my Little Girl died in my house. In my husband arms. I am so sad, it's very hard to deal with this pain.
Fella was 17 1/2 years old he stopped eating, he had liver disease. We put him down and stayed with him. He cried with us as we were saying good bye to him. We loved him so much. I'm glad my husband and I stayed with him until the end.
But my little girl was a total shock. She died on Jan 4th, two days after Fella. She was breathing heavy on Jan 1st we rushed her to the ER they took x-rays and ultrasound. She had cancer all over her organs and heart. It was a very aggressive lymphoma. We where in shock couldn't believe it. We took her home because I wanted to take her to my vet to put her down on Monday but she died Monday morning.
Fella was my husband's cat loved him so much. Always talking, and Little Girl was my baby always sleeping with me. She was my love, I still cry to this day, she was so special to me, I never felt this pain in my heart over a pet for this long.
What I find amazing is the numbers of their death are our birthday numbers. I wonder if it means anything. Maybe they are thinking of us and we will always think of them. They were such special cats it's so heartbreaking. .
I'm so sorry for the loss of your two
Babies. My condolences.

Oh, my, how my heart hurts for you. Losing one kitty is tough, but to lose two in a matter of days is unthinkable. I pray that you will endure through these trying days. But feel happy knowing that you gave them the best life possible, and that they had each other as well. And know that the pain at this time is still raw, and that you should not expect it to heal any time fast. They meant so much to you, and those who never had a sweet kitty will never know what these precious angels meant for us and to us.

Rest in peace, precious angels in fur. Fella eternal. Little Girl eternal.
