Little Stray Angel

Dear Kitten,

I'm so sorry you never got a name. I'm so sorry we couldn't save you and that you were so sick. I want you to know that I even though we found you too late, I loved you. You came to my husband because you needed help, and I feel like we failed you.

I can be thankful that you at least got a few good meals in you and got to sleep on a soft, warm blanket in bed with us for your last night here on earth. I never thought that taking you to the vet this morning would mean putting you down. I had never dreamed that the trauma you had experienced in your short life would be irreversible.

My heart is broken that you never got a chance to know that people can be good. Not all of us are horrible. You were a good kitty. You deserved a much better hand than you were dealt. Sleep well, sweet angel.

Such a sweet tribute.  That little kitty was loved in the short time it had here, thanks to you.  

I pray you  are blessed for taking in this angel and proving that there is gentleness and love in this world. She came to you because she sensed that you would help her, she needed someone and you were there, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm sure the last hours were the best ones in that sweet cats life, I'm so sorry that life couldn't have been longer and filled with happiness. This world can be so cruel and filled with peril, thank the heavens for people like you, that don't turn their backs on a helpless animal in need. Angel is the perfect name for such a sweet and beautiful cat, so be it that Angel will carry that name upon entering the Rainbow Bridge, forever safe and warm. RIP sweet Angel, you will not be forgotten by this cruel world, many now mourn your passing and two will hold you dear in their hearts for having known you! 

What an adorable kitten.  I can't put into words how kind and compassionate you and your husband are.  I'm so sorry for your loss.

Bless you for taking this girl in.  She knew she was in the hands of people who loved her and this I'm sure made her last hours much easier.   She was a very pretty girl.  It's amazing how quickly they can work their ways into our hearts.      Your tribute to her is lovely and now we know her as well - thank you.   RIP little girl.

I couldn't say it better myself!! Little Angel was given so many blessings in her last few days here on earth and when it is YOUR turn to cross over The Bridge, your kindnesses will be remembered and you will be told, "Well done, My good and faithful servant!".  Thank you for sharing with us - I know how painful it is to write a tribute, especially for one so young who suffered such difficult circumstances.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Just know that even for the short time Little Angel was with you, she will always know that people DO care. She knew love and compassion even if for a short time. You will be blessed for taking this precious baby girl into your home and life.

That's incredibly sad. At least you were able to make her last hours on earth ones filled with love, warmth and food. RIP, little sweetie.

Oh, what a sweet looking kitty!
I am so sorry that she was too sick to be saved. That is truly sad! I just don't understand how some people can mistreat a poor innocent kitty or neglect them. You were her angel though. You showed her warmth and love in her final hours. She didn't leave this earth alone. She took a piece of your heart with her, all wrapped up with love. She knew love, even though it was for a short time, and knows someone cared and will remember her.
Isn't that truly what we all want, just to know someone cares and will remember us.
That sweet kitty will now know that and it is all thanks to you.
