Hello!  Happy Tuesday ~ 

What is your favourite genre of music? Least favourite?

My #1 favourite is classical music - next after, I also like rock, Celtic or folk in general, symphonic metal, and the odd good dance/pop/techno or latin song.  And jazz for swing dancing 

Least favourites...rap and R&B.   

I like just about all types of music although I do gravitate mostly to rock of all kinds.  Blues, jazz, classical, opera,cajun/zydeco, celtic, etc. all good!

What I do not like much is rap and country but every now and then a song or two gets by that I will listen do.  But it's rare.

Classic Rock is my favorite: Aerosmith, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Dire Straits, the Doobies, Eagles, Montrose, Iron Butterfly, etc.

I despise country music and rap with a passion. You will never, ever get me to willingly sit down and listen to country music or any kind of rap. I simply will not do it.

Favorite  Oldies

Least liked  Hard Rock and Rap

Favorites - too many, but pop-punk, light hardcore punk rock, oldies, jazzy rock (think Chicago, or any rock band with horns), gothic rock.

Least liked - hip-hop and rap (except Will Smith, he's the exception)

i think my absolute favorite is big band/swing, followed very closely by brazillian -- bossa nova and samba. i like some country music, but the oldies like Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, etc. i love jazz too, and some blues.

i like rock music, but i'm very particular about it. i like classical music, but am very particular about this too.

i don't like rap.

my taste in music is eclectic.

Love hard rock & heavy metal. Also classic rock. I also like some alternative. 

Hate most current pop and pretty much any recent country which IMO is just pop with a twang. To me, country music is Johnny Cash (although he was just too cool be labeled) and Willie Nelson. Man I'd love to hang out with Willie. Another really cool dude. DH has some Johnny Cash records that I kept (yup- vinyl) and he had some great stuff.  

No rap for me with the exception of Eminem. I love him. 

My favorite music is jazz piano - especially a good old rollicking boogie woogie.  But I actually like almost all jazz, rock and classical music.  Truthfully, I'm not sure there is any music I don't like!  

R & B, Cajun - Zydeco, Jazz. I'm from Louisiana. Common for down here for people my age. 

The only music I really dislike is rap and opera.

Even though i don't care for opera I do like the instrumental classical music.

I like classic rock and most jazz the best.

I can take country in small doses and I am the same with gospel, small doses.  When I am done listening to either I am done, listening past that point gets on my nerves.

Wow...thats a tough one.  Favorites would be 14th century Japanese flute and also Gregorian chant and plainsong.  But there are a whole bunch of others I love as well.   Least favorites are country and ganster rap.  I have a son who writes and performs political rap, so I've learned the different forms and to appreciate the  poli-rap that he does.

I like pretty much everything (except rap and country, I can't deal with that), and I've got a new favorite every other week, but I generally gravitate towards alt-rock and pop punk.
Jazz is a big favorite of mine, but it's been hard to listen to these last couple of months.

Rock, Pop and alternative. I do not like Country music.
