We were told to stop Ellie from jumping, running, etc., for the next week or so, but we just brought her home an hour ago and she has been CRAZY just like usual. I'm scared her stitches will rip out. We had a nice bed prepared for her and everything in our bedroom, expecting her to be sleepy and sore, but she has been purring and racing around just like usually, jumping on things and being far too active.
We can't put her in a smaller room, the bathroom is actually her favourite place to frolic, she loves rolling around in the bathtub and jumping from the toilet to the sink, so that isn't an option. We don't have
Also, the vet put an e-collar on her and she has already successfully removed it. We can't tie it tighter, she just wiggles it loose. I have no clue what to do.
I am so worried she is going to hurt herself, we can't afford medical treatment if she does .... we stretched ourselves thin getting her spayed.
