hey guys,

SO a week or two ago my neighbor found a cute mama kitty and her kittens and brought them to me (i guess i'm the neighborhood cat lady) and there are three kittens, one of them is short haired and the other two are long haired. i've been looking at one of them, and.. i'm wondering if my cat Fuzzybutt is the father of these kittens.

a couple months ago he clawed his way out of my window screen and spent a week or two outside. we finally trapped him and got him back in, but i'm wondering if he got this mama cat pregnant while he was out being a tomcat?

this kitten in particular makes me wonder:

she's so fuzzy, like him, and has black spots on her.. her eyes look similarly shaped, and.. she seems to have a black marking under her chin that looks super similar to his.

also, his sister is a calico:

we just lost the one actual kitten we KNOW was his, so maybe i'm just projecting... what do you guys think?

It's not unlikely that a whole tomcat would sire kittens in the vicinity
Cats are extremely prolific and it doesn't take long for them to mate. I hope Fuzzybutt has been neutered since then. It can be very frustrating for a whole cat to be limited to an indoor environment.

Genetically speaking, yes, I'm pretty sure a bi-color male cat in white and black can sire a calico kitten. The fluffiness is another key feature. The only way to know for sure would be by running genetic tests.

I hope you find the kittens a good forever home!
