*Speaking of catnip* Zander has become an addict. She found the bag of catnip and was in the process of tearing it up to get in it. I had to lock it in a cabinet.

I bought a couple of catnip toys at the grocery store back in December to add to the box of toys and treats for the shelter cats Christmas present I put together and I had the bags on the floor while I put the stuff away. The cats always scope out the bags to see what I brought in. I heard extra rustling sounds and I looked to see Sophie had dragged one of the toys out of the bag and was laying on her back with her front legs wrapped around it, cardboard backing and all. Then she started rolling around with it. Needless to say,the cardboard came off and that one became hers. I had to go get another toy to replace it for the box.
