Stray cat and the storm

I have a stray cat I have been taking care of since summer.  It took months for him to come out of the storm drain but eventually he "moved in" to a home I built him on my front porch.  It is completely covered and has a heating pad.  So, with last night's  blizzard I assumed he'd stay in his house. Well, he didn't and now we have two feet of snow.  I dug out the storm drain where he used to hide/live but I haven't seen him.  He will NOT come in the house though of course now I wish I had forced him in.  Of course think he has hidden himself somewhere but now can't get out.

Feral cats are very savvy.  I am thinking he found a place to hunker down during the storm.  Fingers crossed that once the snow melts, he'll reappear.

Keep the shelter open for him and leave food out as usual.
