...at least that's what Facebook is telling me. :lol3:

So do you like pie? What's your favorite type?

I'm sort of so-so on pies. It's not what I would normally go for first. I'm not a bit fan of fruit pies. Chocolate cream, Peanut butter, etc are all good. :yummy:

I love pie!  Apple and raspberry are my favorites.  And cherry!  Strawberry rhubarb or plain rhubarb are awesome too!  My Gram was the pie maker I hold all other pie makers to.  Tough standards.

I thought pie day was March 14th though. I've also seen that come across my Facebook feed today though.  One woman I know sells pampered chef and she posted an image of their pizza cutter that said "This is how I cut my carbs."
  So true.

Pie, I like pineapple pie. I make it with a gluten free graham cracker crust.

I've never heard of pineapple pie, any chance you've got a recipe? :D

Yes, here it is.

1 graham cracker crust
1 pkg. small size sugar free instant vanilla pudding. (I have to buy one marked gluten free.)
1 cup sour cream (I generally use the fat free kind here)
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained well.
1 pkg. of artificial sweetener

Mix the pudding and the sour cream. Add the drained pineapple and the sweetener. Pour into the pie crust and cover the top with lite Cool Whip. Chill for at least three hours before servine.

Hooray! I'll have to give that a try!

I love fruit pies. Blackberry (the wild ones that grow in the South) is my most favorite, but I love cherry, blueberry, and apple too. Top them off with some vanilla ice cream, and oh my!

Pie is generally my favorite dessert.  Which one I like is kind of dependent on what mood I am in at the time.  My least favorite is ice cream type pie and I'm not too crazy about blueberry pie.  Truth is blueberries is one of my least favorite fruits which is why I am not too crazy about blueberry pie.

Not a big fan.Especially of fruit pies like apple, cherry, etc. Our local grocery chain (Publix) makes a great Key Lime pie that I like frozen. Other than that, I like savory pies like pot pies.

Love me some pie!

Rick is the fruit pie fan around here. For me?

Lemon meringue, please. A mile-high lemon meringue pie would work.

A chocolate silk pie would work.

So would a coconut cream pie.

I'd even take an Amish vanilla pie right now.

I love pumpkin pie...it's my favorite pie ever! But I only like it once or twice a year!

My favorite from our local pizza place is the mud pie they serve. It is a pie that has coffee ice cream, almonds, chunks of fudge on a chocolate cookie crust and they cover it in chocolate syrup. I only get it for my birthday, though because I get a "free" coupon if we go out to eat on my birthday if you dine in and spend $10 or more. Amazing stuff!

I do like chocolate cream pie, too and we make that several times a year. I don't care for fruity pies or coconut cream. I do like banana cream pie though only because I adore bananas.

When you're talking about savory pies, I love deep-dish chicken pie. And a good Cornish Pasty with lots of wine sauce. (A pasty is kind of like a pie. In a way.)
