Hi, my guy is adopted so we don't know how old he really is- our vets have estimated he's 10.

But just wondering, I've heard about iris atrophy as cats age and the iris of old cats looking 'moth-eaten' and so on. I've no idea how that's supposed to look like. Does anyone have photos of the eyes of old cats vs middle age cats vs young cats for comparison?

I dunno about "moth eaten" - that sounds horrible! I know cats can get cataracts, which gives the eyes (especially the pupils) a bit of a cloudy appearance. It's especially obvious when flash is used.
