Remember back during the summer of 2015 when our Kenmore Elite's electronic panel melted down (for the second time)? And I did all that research on dishwashers....we bought the Bosch in July. I'm very happy with it, BTW.

We received a notice in the mail about a class action suit against Kitchen Aid, Kenmore, and Whirlpool brand dishwashers. For the melting of the electronic panels. You know, ours melted. Twice. Got it repaired the first time and then a few years later, the replacement panel also melted. This time we got rid of the thing.

I'm going to check into this.  We have all the information on that dishwasher and we still have the bill that we paid when the panel melted down the first time. Supposedly we might be entitled to $300 toward the cost of a new dishwasher. I know how these things work and I won't hold my breath for a penny. Usually the only ones who really see any money are the attorneys.

But you never know.

I have a Bosch now, too.  My new Whirlpool flooded the kitchen and the store employees tried to make it seem like a normal occurrence on the first few uses.  It took a call to the home office to get it out of my kitchen and an equal exchange for any dishwasher in the store.  So I got the Bosch with the third drawer.

I hope the class action lawsuit works out for you.  I know someone who actually did get a check from one a few years ago.  I don't remember the company involved or the circumstances, but I hope it goes that way for you.

I got a cheque in the mail last week for $20; my portion of the award from this class action lawsuit:

It would have been more, but unfortunately I didn't have bills of sale for about 20 items going back 15 YEARS!

Recently I contacted lawyers in California about the class action lawsuit against WEN for hair loss related to their product.  Unfortunately my computer hard drive died  and I lost all of my digital photos and had no proof of what my hair looked like before using WEN.  Photos taken after that showed major thinning of my hair, but because there were no "before" photos, they didn't think they could prove my case.

Definitely check into it.  You are right, the lawyers will make out like bandits getting 33% or more of the award, but if you can get something towards your new dishwasher........

I got one from Natura Pet food.  I didn't do anything to get it probably because I use the frequent buyer cards for the occasional free foods.  A woman in California had brought a lawsuit because of their use of the phrase 'human grade' in their advertising.

I got a card in the mail concerning this, as well.  I must have came yesterday.  I'm thinking it must be about the dishwasher we had prior to our flood generating Whirlpool because the timeline fits.  Since I don't know exactly what caused our dishwasher to bite the dust, I'm not filing.  You have a legitimate claim, and I really hope you get the settlement in which you are entitled.

Right now, I am hoping that our car isn't on the list for the massive airbag recall.
