I was eating a bowl of mixed vegetables, and I sprinkled some lemon pepper and garlic salt on them. There was still some seasoning left on the bottom of the bowl when I was finished, and I caught one of my cats licking the bowl when I returned to the room. He did not ingest a huge amount, but could the lemon pepper and garlic salt be toxic?

Garlic is harmful to cats. I'm not sure how much garlic is in garlic salt, though. A very small amount ingested may  not cause illness or an upset tummy. I'd keep a close eye on the cat just in case.
