Why no weruva or soulistic?

If you look at the list I did put some of the weruva on it just not check mark. There are two reasons that it's not my first choice. First, their products contain Xanthan gum, I am not sure is it less toxic than guar gum, but I prefer not feed my cat with it. Second, there are people said their can foods are a little bit salty. I didn't see Soulistic in the pet shops but I checked their ingredients, they have guar gum and xanthan gum, they will not be the best choice either. There is no commercialized food that is perfect, but I just list the brands that use less questionable but more nature ingredients. Some foods have too many carbs, such as Blue Buffalo. I just find out after feeding my cats Blue for years until the vet told me they might get diabetes. 

An update: I moved the Nature's Logic dry food up to the first on the list. They answered my question about the grain issue. According to them, their product used whole foods, which have more dense nutrition and therefore have less sugar than grain-free products. I checked the carbs, their products have less than 30% and seems acceptable. Consider it's all nature and no added artificial stuffs, it is pretty good choice for the cats.
