I so enjoy seeing photos of baby Persian kittens.  On Facebook there is a breeder that sells ones that don't have the pushed in face, which is so much better.  Anyway, she wrote this:  Between my 2 girls and my daughters 2, I've delivered over 150 kittens in the last five years!

I was taken aback.  Wondering if that is too much?  Is that healthy for a cat to have that many kittens?

I think this means 4 queens, not 2.  Two are owned by her, two are owned by her dau, and she apparently is in the overall charge.   But yeah, this sounds certainly  much. Lets try to count.  roughly 40 apiece.  Roughly 8 per year.  Probably twice a year, 4 kittens each litter.

And this is much.  The European big association Fife, allows at most 3 litters in two years.  A try with two litter a year only if the first  litter is small.

Two littera a year several years running is much.   Not even mentioning they begin to be too old for this.  I hope she let them get their senior citizen leave now.

Anyway, surely a typical BYB breeder.

Also, producing  "old type" persians is not only typical for them, but also wise - its less difficult than to produce healthy modern type persians with the flat faces.
