Help! My poor girl had red in her ear. Feels like a rash. She is almost 9 months. I don't see her shaking her head or trying to scratch it. Anyone know what this is and what I can do about it?

I am sorry to see that your cat is going through this. I would take her to a vet for a diagnosis. That does not look normal at all. How long has this been going on?

Is she an indoor or an outdoor cat? It might be some sort of reaction to flea bites? Or an allergic reaction to some food? It's alittle hard to tell from the picture, but I think that looks like gunk in her ears? Are her ears dirty inside? If so it could be ear-mitse and she could be scratching at that ear to try and get rid of their pesky biting and walking around

I hope she gets sorted soon! I had a cat with dreadful earmites not too long ago, and on top of that he had scabies as well! As usual, I was unable to get him to the vet, but I kept on cleaning his wounds with neem oil and neem water and coconut oil and he's now as right as rain! He did have a aural hematoma too, and that gave him a little cauliflower too haha!

Anyway, I hope you get your cat to a vet soon, and that her ear's better in no-time!

I think you'd better go and see the vet instead of expecting to get advice from here.
