My cat has sores on the outside of his mouth.

This is the first cat ive ever had so im not sure what these are. Ive noticed just one small sore about 2 days ago but now there is more. Can anyone help ?

The sores could be rodent ulcers or ulcers associated with a virus such as Calicivirus. I've also had a cat that present with mouth sores due to food allergies.

Best to get your kitty in to see the vet. They can tell you if your kitty needs any type of medication to treat the sores.
