I just got a cat from a shelter, pumpkin got surgery on January 11th it is now the 20th and her scar isn't fully healed and it still looks open and the stitches are gone already. it's red and is swollen. She eating fine and drinking but is always hidden in a corner should I be worried

Congratulations on your new kitty!  Her incision doesn't look terrible, but since it's been 10 days, it should look better.  I'd get her to the vet for a re-check of that incision.

I see the little tattoo she got :)

Hopefully the cone doesn't bother her too much. You can also put a onesie on her to keep her from licking at it, instead of a cone.

I would have to defer to someone that has actually done it (Penelopy didn't need that or a cone) but I imagine you would cut off the bottom part.

You have to cut a hole for the tail so you just cut it a little bigger so they can still go potty :D. A tube sock with the toes cut off will work for slim girls or kittens.

Watch her for the side effects of Convenia.  Do some searching on this site so you'll know what to look for.
