Haven't posted much lately, due to our Tony's illness.

But , on a happy note, I want to show you our new laminate floors. Did our master bedroom and office, and we just love it so much. Plan to do the guest bedroom in a few months, and then we will be "carpet free".

The bed skirt is missing in the master bedroom since Angel has adopted it as her new bed. Once we can rescue it from her we will put it back.

Thank you for your comments. I am just so happy with the new floors. I was originally afraid to get the darker color, but I'm so glad I did. It's so rich looking. And yes it's a pleasure to keep clean. Just go over it with the swiffer every day. Any other marks I just use a damp mop. Just a smidge of wetness on the mop (not too much) and it cleans beautifully. Can't wait to do the guest bedroom. Originally didn't plan to do all the rooms, but not we definitely want to be carpet free.

That looks like the "hand scraped" wood that is so popular now. I really like it. It's warm and practical too. Great job!
