I was clipping Em's nails tonight and of course the very first one I clipped too close. He didn't seem to be too hurt and to bleed a bit. I put some corn starch on it having nothing else so it wouldn't bleed. Should I check for anything else with that nail? Is there anything I really should super worry about??

I've cut to the quick with my dogs so many times I've lost count. Nothing's ever happened after. So just leave it be and don't worry, and don't feel too guilty, it happens to most of us at some point!

I clipped the rest this afternoon. It went well. Em isn't mad at me anymore. Just nail clipping isn't his favorite pass time!
