Oh I am so sorry, I know how sad and horrible you must feel. I am going through the same pain. I lost my 2 cats 2 weeks ago 2 days apart. I was devastated. Honey all I can tell you is remember all the beautiful loving time you had with your furry baby. This will take time. Everyone time is different. I have a blanket my little girl loved, I always wrap my self in her blanket and I feel she's with me. Have pictures of your furry baby around and talk to him. Lots of love , time will heal you. Xo

Have you contacted Animal Control? We found our lost dog that way, and I was able to locate the owners of a stray I took in. It's only been 3 three days. There's a lot you can do to locate Midnight.

I'm so very sorry.  I was absolutely devastated when I lost my first cat I'd had for 18 years.  It's so hard.  If you need to talk to someone, please consider calling the ASPCA Grief Hotline.  Some of our members have called, and it has helped them:

The ASPCA maintains a free grief hotline, and it is a very compassionate service manned by trained professionals in grief counseling.  They are also used to talking to people who's pet is missing, or is facing possible euthanasia.  I can't recommend them enough.

Aw, I'm so sorry about Midnight. Do you have any pictures of her you'd like to share? You have come to the right place to talk about her and what you're going through - most of us have been there. They get into our hearts and take over! Midnight will always be in your heart and a part of you. May she visit you in your dreams. RIP sweet Midnight [emoji]10084[/emoji]️[emoji]127752[/emoji][emoji]10084[/emoji]️

Sadly, when we lose such an important part of our lives, it mainly boils down to learning to live with the horrible loss, and learning to let ourselves be happy again without feeling guilt because our little ones are not here to share it. For many it takes a long, long time, but eventually we realize that our loved one would never want us to be so sad when we remember them, but to celebrate that we had the time we had with them and shared something that few do. This bond is something precious, and it can never be broken or taken from you as long as you live. So for now let your precious memories comfort you when the pain of a broken heart is overwhelming, and surround yourself with people who understand what you are going through, it helps to talk about your loss to begin the long road to healing. Like a wound it will leave a scar on your heart, but there is healing and eventually you will let another occupy another space in that heart because it is a loving one. I'll keep you both in my thoughts and prayers, thank you for letting us know of Midnight so that we may share in your sadness. I pray that you may be blessed for hurting so bad from loving so much, take care..........RIP beautiful Midnight, the world is a little darker with your passing, but your star forever shines bright in the heavens!

I am so sorry, outside of this place, many people don't understand what these beautiful friends mean to us. For many of us, they are part of who we are, they are part of our soul. Sweet Midnight rest easy, you will always have a special place in your guardian's heart and will be missed.
