That Mauri canned kangaroo cat food isn't safe with 3 thickening gums in it? Got 5 cans sent to me today and am scared to give it a go. Thoughts please, thanks guys!!

I can't say I've heard of kangaroo cat food, except perhaps in Europe (I think that's where someone mentioned it). I wish I could remember WHO now... Hopefully someone will see this and knows an answer.

What do they say is wrong with it?

I've just looked it up. None of those gums seem harmful to me (remember - not all gums are equal ;) ), so I really wouldn't worry about trying the food. They're not on the same level as, say, carrageenan. See what your cat makes of it. It looks like a pretty good food overall - to me, anyway ;)

The only potential issue is if your cat has a sensitive tummy - I have to avoid guar gum because my girl gets diarrhoea when she has it. She's pretty sensitive though - she can't handle beef or lamb either. If it wasn't for that, I'd be fine with feeding it :)
