Hello my name is Shetarot and I am new to your site.   I have been reading and reading posts from people and enjoying my time here.

My cat is 9 to 10 months old, she is a rescue cat from a local shelter..   I am so glad i found her when I did.. The shelter is not what you call the best place in the world so I was very happy that I got to take her home.  I truly think I found the right match for me.  She was pitiful and wouldn't let me go when I handled the cats at the shelter.  I just about cried my self silly.

I found my soul kitty.    But she has problems, the vet that did her spay created a hernia that now I have to fix.   Im really glad they didn't do her rabies shot cause the Vet was able to see the major bubble that she has.   Right now im gathering the money that I need to get her hernia fixed.   I need to collect $50 for the operation..

Blessings,

Shetarot

Aw, Lily looks like such a sweet girl. Bless you for bringing her home - it sounds like she truly wanted you to be her person.

When do you think she'll have her surgery? Please let us know how it goes. And welcome to TCS! [emoji]127811[/emoji][emoji]127800[/emoji][emoji]127811[/emoji]

I think bonding is an absolutely perfect way to pass the time :) She looks so sweet!

And don't be upset about the money statement--that's posted anytime money is mentioned at all. So many people prey on people for money on the Internet (mat that you were!)---and the moderators on this site know that we pet people are soft touches and they just want to keep us all safe. So don't let that discourage you/embarrass you ---we want to know how the surgery goes! (And wow - what a vet you have to do any surgery for less than $50! I'd stick with that vet!).

Keep us posted on Lilly!

Yes, Defiantly my vet is the bomb..  they are a small town vet and they love animals.   You can tell it by the care they give..   Most things with my Vet are very inexpensive so I do all my animal needs there.

I will be calling the next few days to get her surgery done.  Thanks for all the support..

Blessings,

sherry
