Well, we finally figured out her problem.  Tried putting golf balls in her food dish, changed to a higher quality food and still no luck.  When we give her fresh/canned  chicken, turkey or canned flakes of ham she doesn't throw up at all.  Must be something in the prepared cat food that causes her stomach to spasm and eventually throw up.  She hasn't lost any weight and is extremely healthy.

Hi! If you are intent on feeding her only pure meat, I highly suggest you visit our raw forum to get some advice.  Feeding just raw or cooked animal meat by itself is not nutritionally complete for a cat. This may seem strange at first, but consider that in the wild a cat would eat not only the meat but also the bones, organs, and so on. While I am glad this has provided a solution for the vomiting, if you do not learn how to appropriately supplement it it will unfortunately lead to different issues in the future.

Good luck sorting this out! I am happy the vomiting has stopped!

Some cats have food allergies or sensitivities. Usually its an allergy / sensitivity to a particular protein or to grains or to gluten or something else.  A limited ingredient diet can help. Have you tried those? Nature's Variety Limited Ingredient is one commerical brand.

Fresh or canned or raw chicken and other meats are fine but not a complete balanced diet because it lacks the vitamins and minerals a cat needs. If you wish to continue feeding these as the only food, you need to add in vitamins and minerals. There are different ways to do this. Please look at the info on the Raw and Home Cooked forum here on TCS for more info on how to do such a diet properly.

You can try commercial raw too.  My cat is on primal raw frozen nuggets due to his chronic diarrhea.
