When I contacted this company over a year ago re: the three gums, the person I spoke with said they were going to remove at least "one" of those gums.
Nothing has since been removed.
I used it briefly out of desperation b/c of a sick cat that wasn't eating properly and it was one of the few foods she would eat.
Her stools were horribly smelly, the food is so gummy it practically stretches as you remove from the can to the plate.
That being said, I tried various flavors with both cats and both cats never refused the food.
Maybe a bit more pressure is in order with Mauri to encourage them to minimize the gums. I noticed though they started using tetrosodium pyrophosphate, however, at least with their duck formula, a very questionable ingredient which I'd prefer to avoid.
I hear ya. I've communicated with these guys for about a year. Told it was gonna be change by the Fall. Didn't happen. I haven't given this to my cat but once or twice because of my personal concerns, as I've seen others concerns as well. Maybe they don't care, if not, I'll close the door on this product. Thanks for your reply...
