Good morning.

When do you like to take your bath or shower? First thing in the morning or last thing at night?

In the summer I like to take a shower as soon as I've had coffee, to wake me up for the day. In the winter I take a really hot bath, as hot as I can stand it, just before I go to bed.

Got to raise your core temperature before you go to bed in these parts, otherwise you'll never survive the winter.

How about you?

Because I'm normally sweating up a storm on the treadmill in the morning before work, I prefer to take a shower in the morning.

During the summer, I will sometimes take two showers a day, especially on work days. I'll do the treadmill, then grab a shower. But then when we get home from work, we're usually out grubbing in the yard, working in the garden, mowing the lawn and I get all sweaty and dirty. I can't go to bed like that, so I grab a quickie before bed.

I never take baths, not with six cats in the house who like to play in the bathtub.

I only take baths, I love to soak  my aches away. In the summer I take them after my  everyday yard work is done, so early afternoon. In the winter usually after my exercise class, so mid morning.

I've only got one cat that loves to mess around in the water, old Burt. He sits at the door when my husband takes a shower, knowing he will get a 'rubdown', with the damp towel, which he dearly loves. At nearly 15 we can't deny him!

I take showers as soon as I actually get out of bed in the morning. Sometimes I'll take a bath at night I'm not feeling well or I've had a stressful day.
Ruby gets funny about both. She sits on the edge of the tub when I take baths and plays with my toes, and if I leave the door cracked when I shower she sits between the curtain and the liner and pokes her head out to meow at me. :lol3:

I've always taken a shower at night. Rushing around in the morning to shower, get dressed, feed the pets, etc does not appeal to me at all
Occasionally I'll take a shower in the morning instead of at night.

Always at night unless I have to, like today I'll probably take an afternoon shower so I'm not gross for the goings-on. I take very hot showers to put me to sleep.

I love to take baths, but unfortunately, being 6'1" makes its very difficult for me to actually enjoy a soak in a standard size bathtub, so I'll have to wait until the day comes where I get to own my home and put a large one in.

Usually at night. That way I don't have to get up extra early in the morning for that. I'm not a morning person. Every extra minute spent with my pillow is a good one. :lol3:

Summer: Morning

Winter: Evening

(And sometimes in the afternoon, either season)

It's just too cold for me to have a shower in the morning during winter - hair is still wet, will stay wet way longer with the coldness outside, don't have time to let it dry off before having to head out. So altogether just feel damp and chilly, even in a warm car. Plus, it feels really quite lovely to have a hot shower at the end of the day, then get to be cozy and relax.

But for the summer, I favour the morning. Clearly much warmer, so much easier and comfortable. And I like the freshness it provides for the day.

And the odd occasion, I have taken showers in the afternoon, either season.

In the morning. It helps wake me up. In addition, wetting or washing my hair makes it look better. It gets so flat when I sleep on it. Definitely 'bed' head.....

It is not unusual for me to take 2 showers a day.. morning and nite

Morning, then again before I get ready for bed (which is sometimes around 5:00). I just love the feeling of clean skin and clean jammies.

I usually do it in the morning, just because it's easier, but would prefer to do it in the evening. I'm just too tired most times (my meds do that to me) so morning it is.

Mostly I bathe at night.  I'm a soaker, although I end up with a quick shower-off.  Occasionally, if I'm having a bout of intractable muscle spasms, I may end up taking baths around the clock in an effort to ease charlie horses.  If I'm washing my hair, I do it in the shower, and in the morning.  My hair is between my waist and my hips, so I need long drying time.

I almost always take my shower at night. I have to wash off the day, & especially having a cleaning business! Sometimes late afternoon, if I am done & home for the day, especially if it's cold or rainy out. I almost always take one at night, I just can't get into a clean bed, w/ out one. If I have an appointment or something, then in the morning I will. Yes, when its summer, usually 2 depending on what I did that day. I do like to soak in the tub as well when my back needs it, or just to relax. As long as its not so hot out, like in the summer, then, ..its just too hot.

It depends on what I have planned for the day. If I need to head out, right away. If I am going for a walk, then after that. If I know I am going to be cleaning or doing stuff in the yard, then it's later in the afternoon once I'm done.
