NO SHAME on this one guys!

To me food in life is all about balance. Are there some days I go to the gym and eat salads all day? Yes. Are there days I don't get off the couch and eat ten cupcakes? YES!

For this question, I don't just mean what flavor you feed them the most. I mean their FAVORITE. YES--Fish and seafood included!

^ Aww, you both are beautiful.

I don't have a guilty pleasure in wet food but just the other day I bought one of those tiny bags of Temptation treats.  Eeks!    Now the only treats I normally feed are of the freeze dried variety but I was in the store and I knew my 2 would devour Temptations.     They never had them before but I don't think I know a cat who doesn't like Temptations.     Of course, they inhaled the small handful I gave them when I opened the bag!

So once in a blue moon, I may buy them a bag of Temptations.

They really like the Sheba "Amuse" sachets, particularly the fish flavours. They also go crazy for Ciao sticks. Do you get them where you are?

They come in fish and chicken flavours. They're kind of expensive, but it's worth it to see how much they love them.

What a great picture! You both look so happy! And mm, cupcakes.

I don't stray from our cats' usual foods very much because of Edwina's touchy stomach but they love foods with some tuna -- which I generally try to avoid, particularly because it's so often accompanied by menadione, which I don't like to feed -- every now and then. My mother put a can of some kind of Sheba with tuna and chicken in the Christmas package and they lapped it right up. But Weruva Cats in the Kitchen's Goldie Lox, with chicken, tuna, and salmon went down even faster; I've bought that a couple times as a treat. There was some fishy Weruva pouch that went fast, too.

Your post reminded me that we have a few cans of Tiki Gourmet Carnivore fish that came in a variety pack. Hmm, maybe I'll mix one of those with something today as a treat!

@Norachan, what, exactly, are Ciao sticks? The package is cute!

Asha goes CRAZY for Thrive Ocean Fish. We don't get it for her very often as Shadow hates it. She also loves Almo Nature Classic pouches - I've yet to find a flavour she doesn't love :lol3:

Shadow varies so much it's hard to say (fickle creature that he is). Thrive is usually kitty crack for him, but the favourite flavour varies. We do let him have the Tuna and Salmon & Tuna flavours - he's a 14 year old fish addict, and I'd never totally remove it from his diet :anon: I figure he's 14 and thriving, so he can eat what he likes - its obviously working ;)

Lovely picture!

I've never seen Felix turn down any canned food...he eats all of it with the same gusto, so I don't think he has a particular favourite. I guess all canned food is his 'guilty' pleasure!

Oh my gosh yes cupcakes! And yes I totally remember feeding Ghibli that chicken and Tuna Sheba once and it was gone in like 5 second. Cats just love those stinky fishes don't they?

I've never tried the Thrive! Now I'll have to since you said it was kitty crack for Shadow
. I don't see any problem with letting him eat the fish, either. I probably feed Ghibli something with fish once or twice a week--sometimes more, and I really don't feel bad about it.

It's a UK brand - I don't know if it's available in the US. The full name is Thrive Complete. It's expensive, but great ingredients :)

It had to be 2 weeks ago, when I discovered that Artie loves, "I Can't Believe it's Not Butter" !!! I was shocked!!

I had a slice of bread with some butter on the table, he jumped up, went over to the bread, sniffed--with me watching because I never thought he would care for it. Suddenly, to my shock, he started licking it up, with a very long tongue!! He absolutely loved it.. I tried to shoo him away, and he argued with me!!

He does not care for people food. I tried, cream cheese, fussy on cheese--on,y Monterey Jack, no yogurt, no cream, but this--he loves!!

That's an interesting question - my cats don't really care for "bad" cat food - I've tried giving them the same 9Lives and Friskies cans that I feed the ferals, but my guys won't go for it.   They really don't even like "fishy" canned food - I've gotten them a couple of the small Solid Gold cans in the past as a treat, but they won't go for it.   They will eat regular "people" canned tuna, but not fishy cat food!

I'm gonna say the "worst" things they like to eat are pieces of meat & cheese from my fast food hamburgers, whipped cream, cake icing, McDonald's caramel frappe drink, and butter - they love butter

I would never give them any more than literally like a morsel of those things, but for example if I'm eating a piece of cake, I'll let someone take a sniff of my spoon if they want - sometimes all they want is simply a sniff of my food, just to satisy their curiousity - if they happen to take a couple licks of icing, that's OK, but that's all they'll get - and then I have to go get a new spoon for myself lol - if I'm cooking and using butter, everyone has to get a couple licks of butter haha they LOVE it!

Jessie, Red Ticked girl loves swiss cheese, I can't even say cheese without her coming running and then standing up on her hind legs. Adorable. Artemis, Ragoll, disdains all human food. Kind of funny.

They are soft stick of fish or meat in a thick jelly, shrink wrapped to keep them fresh. They come in tuna, mackerel, herring, chicken and chicken/fish combinations. The regular ones are quite firm, but you can get extra soft ones for elderly cats.

My two FIV+ toothless cats love those.

My cat loves Iams Purrfect Delicasies Slow Cooked Turkey & Liver in gravy! It is not the kind of stuff I would normally buy, it was on clearance at big lots. So I bought 48 cans for my cats or ferals or humane society, well my fussy pants loves it, so it is now in the rotation. Chewy.com sells it!

No canned foods really. All 3 of mine are so picky yes, even Henry now. He used to be such a good eater and then Queen Lilith got into his head and he's now almost as fussy as the girls are :sigh:

One day they will inhale a food and the next time they get it, they will look at it like it's something I just scraped out of a dumpster.

Lilith adores scrambled eggs and most grilled, baked or broiled meats (unseasoned of course). She also loves Boar's Head low sodium turkey breast but her favorite is Boar's Head picante provolone cheese.

Sophie's not crazy about people food but she does like steak and the Boar's Head low sodium turkey breast

Henry has a more sensitive stomach than the girls as far as people food goes but likes the turkey breast also and he likes scrambled eggs

I am taking my dad out for a steak today, so I get the big ribeye for myself with a doggie bag. I bring meat, potato and veg for dog and bits of steak for cats. They all love the charbroiled ribeye! I get the part next to bone for myself!

Oh yes I forgot they view a teaspoon of Merrick kibble as a good night treat, that's all the dry they get, they like it more than Purebites.
