I have a new 4 month old kitten, Meeko, who's been with me about a week.

He's had a bit of diarrhea that I was told is pretty common with kittens with a new home and diet change. Sometimes he was a little bit drippy... But he'd been getting progressively more solid bowel movements.

Well... he just took kind of a rough fall off the couch while trying to chase a toy. He ran and hid. I checked him out when he emerged a minute later and he seemed to be okay.. Nothing broken. But a couple minutes later, I noticed some blood on his anus. I gently dabbed it up with some toilet paper. He went to the bathroom right after and I didn't see any blood in his stool..

He returned to being extremely hyper and playful immediately after. At one point it looked like his anus was a little red and swollen. Plus he had some drippy poo coming out like had happened a couple times earlier this week.

He's continued to act pretty normal since for about the last half hour... Playing and running around, wanting to be held and pet... No dripping or blood... His booty still looks a little swollen but the color looks better..

I'm wondering how worried I should be..? I don't have an option to bring him in for an emergency anywhere and none of the vets in town are open weekends. His first vet visit is scheduled for Tuesday. Otherwise he seems perfectly healthy.. No worms spotted, clean eyes and ears, doesn't seem to have any problem eating or drinking for water, no vomitting...

I would be very concerned.  Can you get some of the food he was on prior to his adoption?  That might help, but I'd get him to the vet and get something to help firm up his stools.  Diarrhea can lead to dehydration in kittens, especially young kittens.  It's also uncomfortable and can be painful.
