Oscar is really, really sick...

You're so very brave.

Thank you for everything you've done for Oscar. It's never long enough, all we can do is cherish every moment.

So brave! Yes spoil him. Also most cats love Kentucky fried chicken-remove bones and skin=he will probably try to steal it from you. my cats love deli ham and turkey. it wont hurt him at this point. babyfood too will help. Just treasure your time with him-he sounds like he just wants to be with you. I have no words of wisdom. Only that its going to be hard but you would not want it any other way. Better to have loved than to be a stone cold heart.

Of course it hurts. but these animals teach us so much how to live in the moment. they don't know that they are sick.

Spend whatever time you guys have left enjoying each others company. Keep us posted.

Don't be afraid to ask them to give you meds to help his vomiting=they can do the injections there or send you home with pills=if its pill-wrap in butter after broken apart=let him lick it up-he wont know its in there. And thank you again for loving this old guy

very sad news, I was really hoping it wasn't his time yet. Oscar really captured my heart. I am so glad that he found such a loving and caring home to live out his last days

I have no words, except thank you....   ,   love Oscar...spoil him, until his time.....

Oscar and Human

Oh no, I'm so sorry to be reading this

Love him as much as you can. Feed him as much as he wants. Hold him tightly as much as he'll let you (he is a cat still, after all). I'm so glad he's eating and you can feed him everything he wants - Lucky had stopped eating and I couldn't do that. He did love Taco Bell chicken though, so I'll add that to the KFC suggestion.

He was brought to you for a reason, and you to him. You gave him the love he so badly needed, and maybe his life wasn't so great for awhile, but then you came into his life, and showed him what love and care was.

I was looking at his pictures the other day. He's such a gorgeous cat. Reminds me sooo much of my Tiger who passed many years back (2002). That look on his face, even the snarl

Oscar is indeed one special trooper- I am praying he has a peaceful crossing on Friday.  You and Oscar will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I finally found Oscar's pictures, I couldn't find them on my phone the other day. What a good looking kitty.

I've cried my damn contact lenses out again.

Oscar is such a special fellow.  I swear, just through his photos there's something unique about him that grabs at me. 

I truly believe that the universe gave you this cat knowing full well that you would make his final days sweeter. 

You're his reward for having had to suffer so much in his early  life.

I think you're miraculous and I honestly can't thank you enough for what you've done for this lovely soul. 

I'll be with you both in though on Friday.

Aw,I'm so sorry to hear this.  Oscar is such a special little guy.  Bless you for taking him in and giving him love in his months of life.   I'm with @LavishSqualor - there is something about Oscar that really captured my heart as well.  Now I am filled with sorrow, though I know that what you are doing is the last of your wonderful kindness to this dear boy.

I concur with the all above statements. Been thinking about you guys all day and night as well. Oscar you are very much loved. And he has a very special guardian. Sending lots of hugs and positive thoughts to both of you guys

8 hours till it's time.

Oscar's purring on my lap and giving me extra cuddles and nuzzles.

It's as if he knows. It's as if he's trying to tell me "You'll be okay. I love you."

That just breaks my heart more.

Gosh, I remember "the countdown".

I think Lucky knew. He was purring that day too. For some reason, when I think of seeing him that morning, in my mind's eye I see him with a little hat and suitcase, as if waiting for the train to come.

Love, love, love him. Then love him some more.

What a fantastic memory.  I know it's a sad one but what a wonderful way to remember him.
