Hi everyone :wavey:

Whats the weather like where you are ?

We had our first dusting of snow last night & supposedly we have more snow on the way. We've had a pretty mild winter up to now, just lots of rain & more rain. But it's really starting to turn cold now :cold:

Been below 0 degrees Fahrenheit here, too. That's way below 0 Celsius in England. We've had a couple of inches of snow here and there, but nothing drastic. It's sunny today, and I am so grateful. It's been dark and gloomy for far too many days. I lose my energy when it's so dark.

It's up to 35 today! Feels like a heat wave! :lol3: It was below zero last weekend, and this weekend will be the same :/. But it IS January and this kind of weather is to be expected, we just got spoiled by the unusually warm December.

It was below zero with the wind chills here all week.  Today and tomorrow will be in the mid to upper 30's.  The cold returns over the weekend.

Sunny and 50 degrees F. Yesterday our high was 29. Winter keeps trying to settle in but can't quite make it.

Not too cold. 35 degrees and clear. It was 22 this morning so it feels balmy in comparison.

Cold. It's 34 now, and it's supposed to be 32 overnight. At least we avoided snow the past few nights, when there was a storm passing through the area.

I am NOT a winter person, despite being a born and raised New Yorker. I really, really want to move somewhere south and warm, maybe Texas, Louisiana, Florida or South Carolina. I know people like to visit New York City, and they're awed when they come to Manhattan, and it's true that you can find anything, do anything and meet almost anyone here in New York, but when you live here you take those things for granted, and I would like a slower pace of life in a warmer part of the country.

I've always been a major freeze baby, and every winter I used to dream about moving somewhere warm, but since my road trip to Vegas last summer I've discovered that I really don't do well with heat :lol3: I still hate the cold, but I think I'm less cranky about it this year ;)

Cold. We had our first snow of the year today too. Everyone's been shivering :cold: and my Reynauds is definitely protesting...my hands aren't being very cooperative when it comes to typing...AND I'm under a blanket (and an Asha-cat) RIGHT NEXT TO a heater on full blast :frusty:

cold! high of 28 degrees F here today, snow on the ground now, but just a few inches. tomorrow we're forecast to hit a high of 41 degrees F! still having unseasonably warm weather here and there.

we, Jaspurr and the girls and i, are very comfortably warm inside the house now. the new wood stove has got it at a balmy 80 degrees F here in the living room, and that's just using pretty much one small sized piece of wood at a time -- i'm loving this new stove!

The weather here is... STUPID!

It went down to 6F two nights ago. Then to the mid 20's. Right now it is 53Fand sunny! The few inches of snow we got is all melted. Supposed to be in the mid 40's tomorrow. Then drop to the mid 30's Saturday... then, guess what?!  Sunday night it will drop down to 2F!

Tuesday, there was a 40 car/truck/semi pile up on the highway about 10 minutes from me. The highway was closed in both directions for almost 24 hours while they cleaned up the mess! Fortunately, there were only two 'serious' injuries - none were life-threatening! There was a complete white-out snow squall for about 10 minutes and there was also ice on the roads. I am SO blessed that my daughter's guardian angel was alert and on the job though! I had just talked with her and asked her to come over for lunch, but she said she wasn't awake yet and too tired to drive. If she had come over, she would have been right in the middle of that wreck!

The weather is just absolutely crazy!

We had a couple of days of cold with some snow, it was down to single digits with a wind chill of 10 below zero Tuesday night.  It's back up in the low 40's and most of the snow has melted today.  It's supposed to get cold again over the weekend.  Of course I picked yesterday to schedule one of the kitties for a dental.   The kitty and I had to get out in the frigid cold early yesterday morning.

It was in the 20's earlier but now it went into the 30's, still quite cold but the good news is that we have NO snow at all, yet...

We had our first 1-1/2 inches of snow between yesterday and this morning. Right now it is around 35 degrees F. I'll take it. And tomorrow will be around 43. I'll take that, too.

It was 21 degrees when I left the house this morning. Right now it is 28 degrees. When I was walking around Boston, at 21 degrees, we were having a brief snow shower. Very lite flurries, and it was windy. I cannot warm up.

Way too cold!  Actually today wasn't too bad, I think it got up to 50, but it had been in the 30s the rest of the week.  Yuck!
