My cat just gave birth to 4 kittens earlier last week and it's her second time. And she has been wanting to move her kittens away from her box twice now. I've heard that you're not supposed to touch the newborns and I did not but she still wants to move them away. She has been meowing and panting while she's at it. And  I don't know what to do! Someone help pls ;_;

Could she have more kittens to deliver?  Where does she want to move them to?  Can you move the whole nest there?

It's okay for you to touch the newborns. She is probably frantic to move them to a place that she feels is safer. Moving kittens is hard work. That's probably why she is panting. It may be best to let her move her kittens, depending on where it is she wants to go. Most cats do move their kittens a couple of times. They sre less likely to if they are not being disturbed, and already in a quiet, dark, and private place such as a closet.

Make sure mom has lots of wet and dry food and water too, with her litter box nearby.
